Cultuur bij je buur comes back to your neighborhood in Apeldoorn again on 20 & 21 April 2024. Different people and organizations open their gardens, garages, living rooms… for small performances from local artists.

Come to our performances

We will perform a selection of scenes from our new production Project Lipsync: Blondie vs. Queen three times on 21 April Sunday (half an hour mini shows) in the church of AZC Apeldoorn (Deventerstraat 461). The entrance, as well as coffee and tea are all for free. Do you like songs from 70s-90s? Then, our lip-sync musical may offer you something delicious!

Participate in “Dream Big” and become part of the show

In the time between our performances, we will work on a mini art project that we will use as a backdrop in our final performances. Together with anyone who would like to join, we will make doodles of loose words that describe our hopes and dreams on large pieces of wall paper. We call this the “Dream Big” project. By joining us in this activity, you will essentially become part of our shows.

About Cultuur bij je buur

Cultuur bij je Buur is a project of GIGANT. This is is an annual initiative in which artists from Apeldoorn perform in surprising locations such as living rooms, gardens, community centers, galleries or nursing homes. In line with GIGANT,s mission to give more space to amateur art and enrich the experience of the spectators, it brings residents and (amateur) artists into contact with each other.
